THE ROLE
The Fleet Coordinator supports the Fleet Managers and the National Sales Team by actively coordinating truckload transportation operations, scheduling and tracking loads, communicating with drivers throughout the delivery process, and resolving operational issues to keep freight moving efficiently
ABOUT YOU
Successful Scotlynn Candidates Are:
- Ambitious and driven self-starter
- High levels of organization, written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent computer skills
- The ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team
- Work experience in transportation, trucking, dispatch, or logistics roles is an asset
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN
- Handle high call volumes in a courteous, efficient manner
- Work with carriers and drivers to monitor loading, unloading, and the time management of freight transit
- Assign and track vehicles, trailers, and equipment
- Respond to real-time operational issues and escalates when needed
- Assist Fleet Managers in communication and updates required to drivers and customers
- Performing data entry accurately maintaining up-to-date information in the Transportation Management System and record management system
- Develop long-term relationships with drivers by providing them with excellent customer service
- Support incident reporting and communication flow during disruptions
- Proactively identify and solve issues with Fleet Managers
YOUR COMMITMENT
- This is a full-time, permanent role
- Work in office from 8am – 5pm, Monday-Friday
- Mandatory weekends on a rotating basis
- Potential need for after-hours
