With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring a Credit Manager at our office in Vittoria, ON. This role is for someone who can assess and manage credit risk, oversee credit policies, and ensure compliance with regulations.

THE ROLE 
In this role, you’ll manage credit risk, develop policies, and mentor the Credit and Collections team. The credit manager will assess creditworthiness, set limits, and build strong relationships while ensuring professionalism and alignment with company goals. 
This role could also be known as Financial Risk Manager, Credit and Collections Manager, or Accounts Receivable Manager.  
 
ABOUT YOU 
Successful Scotlynn Candidates Have: 
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred  
• Experience in credit management or analysis 
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills 
• Proficiency with financial/accounting software and Microsoft Office 
• High attention to detail and accuracy 
Work experience in customer-facing roles from the following industries is welcomed and appreciated: Financial Services, Collections and Debt Management, Accounting and Bookkeeping.  
 
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN 
• Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers by analyzing financial transactions, credit history, and other relevant data 
 • Support the Director of Accounting with developing, maintaining, and reviewing credit policies to ensure alignment with industry regulations and internal standards 
 • Set and monitor credit limits and terms, review credit portfolios, and manage risk effectively 
• Oversee the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of Credit and Collections team members 
• Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to team members, including regular performance evaluations to ensure team success 
• Represent Scotlynn in a high degree of professionalism in communications, interactions, and systems processes 
• Perform other job-related duties as directed by the Director of Accounting 
 
YOUR COMMITMENT 
  • This is a full-time, permanent role 
  • Work in office from 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday
