With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring After-Hours Support at our yard in Cornwall, ON. This role is for an organized and responsible person looking to provide support to our Drivers and Fleet Managers. Must be comfortable working independently.

THE ROLE 
The After-Hours Support (Off-Site) assists our Drivers and Fleet Managers and functions as on-site support at high-volume pick-up locations. You will receive requests, transmit messages, track trucks and loads, and communicate with customers, drivers and the sales and operations teams. 
 
This role could also be known as driver support, fleet dispatch or logistics coordinator. 
 
ABOUT YOU 
Successful Scotlynn Candidates Have: 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task 
  • Excellent computer skills 
  • Ability to work as a remote team member 
  • Knowledge of PC Miler, Electronic Driver Logs, Mcleod Transportation Management Software 
  • Knowledge of transportation/logistics industry 
 
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN 
  • Receive and deliver requests and information 
  • Dispatch drivers for pick-up and delivery 
  • Provide drivers with information about loads, pick-up, delivery, traffic, obstacles, and other requirements 
  • Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.  
  • Record information in the Transportation Management System 
  • Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance 
  • Monitor the routes and load tracking according to scheduled delivery 
  • Verify with drivers their timing to meet schedule requirements 
  • Provide updates to customers, Drivers and Fleet Managers

YOUR COMMITMENT 
  • This is a full-time, permanent role 
  • Work in office from 10pm – 7am, Sunday - Thursday

Compensation

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
