With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring Logistics Coordinators at our office in Brantford, ON. This role is for a highly organized person with strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management.

THE ROLE
The Logistics Coordinator will support the Logistics Account Manager and/or Fleet Manager through coordinating and monitoring truckload transportation activities by communicating with carriers to ensure loads are picked up and delivered on time.
ABOUT YOU
Successful Scotlynn Candidates Are:
- High levels of organization, written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent computer skills
- The ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team
Work experience in customer-facing roles from the following industries is welcomed and appreciated: hospitality, administration, retail, and/or the trucking and logistics industry is an asset
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN
- Handling high telephone call volumes in a courteous, efficient manner
- Working with carriers and drivers to monitor loading, unloading, and the time management of freight transit
- Assist Fleet Managers in communication and updates required to customers
- Performing data entry accurately maintaining up-to-date information in the Transportation Management System and record management system
- Develop long-term relationships with drivers by providing them with excellent customer service
- Proactively identify and solve issues with Logistics Account Managers and Fleet Managers
- Perform other job-related duties as directed by the Fleet Manager
YOUR COMMITMENT
- This is a full-time, permanent role
- Work in office from 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday

Compensation
$40,560.00 per year
